The storage of records is key to preserving the stories of the past for tomorrow’s future.  Keeping track of everything while moving from address to address as a young adult can be a challenge.  Cubert aims to minimize packing time, maximize storage space and the reduce the possibility of damage by incorporating a modular system of storage into a classic console entertainment center.  While moving, the console can simply be

broken down to smaller parts for easy transport without boxing up stored contents.  Because the individual cubes are smaller than the overall console there is less risk for damage to walls or the furniture while navigating tight spaces. Once arrived at their new location the modules can easily be formed into a number of configuration that compliment their new environment.

Furniture for Nomads is a collection of furniture ideas that were created for early adulthood.  By creating a modular system with many uses, the furnishing could be easily transported to accommodate drifting young adults as they find their place in the world.  The goal is to maximize livability and minimize disorder so users can focus on success.

The storage trundle is for tight spaces.  By using the footprint of the largest piece of furniture to maximize storage, the rest of a room can be left open to create a livable environment.  Two large drawers and book shelves can be slid out from under the bed for

easy access to stored contents or used as side tables to place evening reading materials.  Two light boxes incorporated into the side table surfaces can be used as reading lights.
